Not to seem superficial, but you have to admit that I can't go on the street anymore in this dress. Yesterday some drunk poured his drink over me and ruined it fully. I hate this town with it's primitive people! Well... not you of course. But, would you please be so nice and find me a roll of cloth? I'm very good at sewing and would like to make myself a new dress. I will pay for the fabric of course.

How do you like my new dress? I've just been thinking how beautiful it would look if I decorated it with a row of little buttons. They can't be simple wooden buttons of course. I was thinking about something fancy... made out of the horn of a cow would be beautiful. Do you think you would be able to find me such a horn?

I just received a telegram and had a really good idea because of it. You know the copper wire they use on the telegraph pole to make pretty brooches. Not for me... I prefer gemstones, but most people here are a bit more simple. I could make a lot of money selling those. Right now I'm a bit broke though, but I'm sure you wouldn't have a hard time finding a roll of wire. In return I'll show you how to make brooches. I'm sure even you can learn it.

Wonderful! The wire will be enough for hundreds of brooches. Lets start right away... look carefully how I braid the wire, go on, try it. ... very nice, and always start from the bottom... man you are clumsy... ah, now this is better, now you got it. I've got to go get dressed for the next show, but I see you'll manage without me just fine...

It's the same every time: I get nervous right before the show. Isn't that silly? I mean, it's not that there are any new people, it's the same stupid guys every day. On top of that most of them are too drunk to even notice what I'm doing. But regardless of that, I could really use a glass of water. Would you please be so nice and bring me one?

Ahhh, that feels good! But honestly... why am I drinking water if every last person in the bar are getting plastered? I think one beer would feel good before the show. I don't think I can take those idiots when I'm too sober. Go and talk to Henry, I'm sure he'll give us a few free beer.
