Chat

For at åbne chatvinduet (hvis ikke allerede åbnet) tryk da på chatrummet, du ønsker åbnet nederst til venstre. For at åbne endnu et chatrum skal du blot trykke på det valgte rum, hvor det herefter vil blive åbnet som en ny fane i chatvinduet. Ved lukning af det sidste aktive chatrum vil chatvinduet lukkes. Du kan ændre på størrelsen af chatvinduet ved at trykke nederst til højre i chatvinduet og gøre vinduet så stort, som du ønsker. Du kan også flytte vinduet rundt på skærmen, for at få den ønskede placering.

For at sende en besked via chatten skal du blot skrive din besked, i den nederst boks, og trykke "enter".

Chat - brugerliste

I et chatrum, der ikke er privat, kan du på, højre side trykke på -knappen for at udvide listen og se chattens online brugere. På nuværende tidspunkt er spillerne listet i alfabetisk orden.

For at sende en privat besked til en anden spiller tryk da på deres navn i chatvinduet og vælg "Hvisk". Du kan kun hviske til spillere, der er online.

Alle chatrum, bortset fra private rum, viser antallet af deltagende brugere i chatrummet.

Chat - Notifikationer

Når en ny besked bliver skrevet i et chatrum, vil du kunne se dette symbol , der indikere, at der er beskeder du ikke har læst i den pågældende chat.

Ved at trykke på luk (x) i chatrummet vil du ikke melde dig ud af chatrummet, men blot lukke det ned. For at forlade et chatrum, så andre ikke kan se dig online, skal du trykke på knappen. For igen at komme ind i chatrummet skal du blot trykke på chatrummet igen. Når du forlader en privat chat vil rummet forsvinde fra din liste over aktive chatrum og historikken vil være slettet. Historikken af andre chatrum vil altid blive genindlæst, når du åbner chatrummet igen, såfremt det er i samme session.

  • Sæt Chat-synlighed i procent
  • Sæt inaktiv synlighed i procent

Chatrumstyper

Der er 5 typer chatrum:

• Bychat
• Alliancechat
• Fortchat
• Generel chat
• Privat chat

Hver chat, bortset fra privatchatten, kan have et emne. Emneteksten er synlig i toppen af chatrummet. For at indstille et emne skriv da /topic: efterfulgt af emnet. For at slette et emne skal du blot skrive /topic

Bychat

Bychatten tillader dig at snakke med dine bymedlemmer. Titlen af rummet vil altid været navnet på byen. Grundlæggere og byrådsmedlemmer af byen kan indstille, rette og slette rummet emne.

Alliancechat

Alliancechatten tillader dig at skrive med alle medlemmer af din alliance. Grundlæggere og byrådsmedlemmer af byen kan indstille, rette og slette rummet emne.

Fortchat

Fort chat only becomes available when you are currently signed up for a fort battle. The title of the channel is the name of the fort in which the battle is taking place. Players signed up to the attacking team get their own chat room, and those signed up to the defending team get a separate chat room. Councillors and founders of the attacking or defending town have the ability to set, change and clear the topic.

Generel chat

Each server has a public general chat room where all online players on that server are included in this chat. The title of the channel is usually General 3.

Privat

Every time you whisper someone, a new chat room is created. Only the player you whispered to and yourself participate in private chats. The title of the chat is the player's name you whispered.

Friends

Notice the "Friends" tab that shows all your friends, even if they are offline. You can click on their name and send a whisper message to your online friends and telegram to offline friends.

Chatkommandoer

There are a number of special commands that have a special effect when typed in the chat window. To enter a command, simply type a forward slash (/) before any of the following words to activate its effect as explained below.

• tell <player name>: Sends a whisper to the player specified.
• topic: Sets the chat room topic. For town and alliance chat only founders and councilors can set the topic. For fort chat, only generals and captains can set the topic.
• clear: Resets the chat room content.
• logout: Logs you out of the game.
• hide: Minimizes the chat window.
• show: Causes the chat window to pop up again.
• ignorelist: Shows all ignored users.
• ignore: Ignores another user.
• unignore: Deletes a user from the ignore list.
• rights <rank>: Sets posting rights in fort chat to the specified rank and above. Only generals and captains can set rights. The default is recruit.
• help: Shows this help. Use /? topic (replace "topic" with whichever one of the aforementioned commands you wish to know more about) to see more specific help.

Coloured messages

Colours can be applied to your chat messages. In order to change the colour of one or more words in your message, type a forward slash (/) before one of the following numbers in order to apply its corresponding colour to all the words after it. More than one colour may be used in one message.

The numbers used to apply each colour can be found here.

There is no escape character, so attempts to display a number following a slash (such as a fraction) will be corrupted. There are two workarounds: you can place a space between the slash and the number, or you can insert a valid colour code (preferably the current colour code) between the slash and the number. i.e., assuming the current color code is black (/000), to display 50/250 you would key in 50//000250
