Help! Just as business in the saloon started to liven up again, new bandits have entered our town, the nasty Gary and his gang! Quick, there's one of them over there! A duel is fought automatically. It is influenced by your clothing, your weapon and the way you distributed your skill points.
 Slut
Nice, that's one less. But with Nasty Gary around town there will never be any new guests coming into the saloon *sobs*.

Dang, this evil Gary and his bandits have emptied my tobacco stash. No tobacco, no guests. Can you get me some tobacco leaves? You don't find the job? Click on the little compass icon in the quest. This opens the minimap and shows you the job's location as a little green icon.

Thank you, {PLAYER_NAME}! Now that I have tobacco, the customers would certainly visit again. Well, if only those bandits...

Because we have these bandits about, the fields are completely neglected. The birds start tapping into our harvest! Save our corn and wheat and drive the crows off our farms, please. Problems finding a job? You can search on the minimap (top right corner). Enter "Scare birds off the field" to see all the locations where you can work on the job. They are marked with a small green hammer icon.

This horrid Gary has raided the saloon and stole the fish you had caught earlier! Could you bring me some more, please? There are several quests that revolve around jobs. For example, to complete the job a number of times, or to work for a certain amount of time or to find some kind of product.
 Slut
Fabulous! I hope I am not too much of a nuisance! You should know, I really appreciate your help. But soon the saloon will be bustling again, so we need to get rid of Nasty Gary. I will think up a plan.

Start
You need to become stronger before you can take on Gary.Never forget to invest your skill points. Every time you gain a level you get three skill points and one attribute point to improve your character. The yellow experience bar at the bottom shows you how far you are away from your next level-up.
 Slut
Fantastic, soon you will be strong enough to silence Gary once and for all. With Attribute points you can increase all five skills of the same color. Skill points you can use on any skill.

Start
Nasty Gary is pretty dangerous. I can get you a cap which will increase your dodging skill. That means Gary will not hit you so easily. I need to charge you 40 dollars for it as Gary has stolen all my savings. To earn some dollars, you should work on jobs for which you get a nice and juicy payment as a reward, like harvesting sugar cane or picking tobacco. Also, put on the the proper equipment to earn even more money.

Ah, good job! I hope it wasn't too exhausting. Here, take this headband to improve your dodging skill. You will be better prepared for the final showdown when you face Gary in a duel.

Enough is enough! This Gary guy has now snatched my sugar supplies! Without sugar, I cannot even sell coffee anymore! I am ruined! That is, unless you would show the courtesy to... well, you know... Note: This job is a bit further away. Click on the small compass symbol in the quest or in the quest tracker. This will open the minimap where the appropriate job locations are marked with a green icon.

Ok, this is the plan: We gonna set a trap for him. You make some money by shining shoes. For sure, Gary will show up to pocket some of your earnings and then we strike. What do you think, good plan or what? Your cowboy needs to go to the work location first. The travel duration can be reduced with a faster horse or the Riding skill.

Well done! Now we only have to wait until Nasty Gary shows his face to get his hands at your dollars. I wonder if he will put up a good fight or chicken out.

Alright, here he comes! Now is the right moment for a nice surprise attack. Attack him and chase him out of town like a whimpering coyote! If you win this duel you will receive Gary's boots as a reward. They will grant you a bonus to your "Aiming" skill, which increases your probability to land a successful strike in a duel.

Hey, you're a hero! Congratulations, man, you made it! Hmm, but now all the bandits are gone. I hope it won't get boring now... Well, no. A new guest has arrived in our saloon and I am sure there is something you can do for her. Her name is Maya, why don't you go over and talk to her.
